this is the hair process,
fist, I put hair pictures in photoshop to get a quick entire mood and their direction,, and then I paintovered photoshop and bodypaint (bodypaint for areas of the seam)
The only thing that bugs me is the transition from forward facing hair to up facing hair is too sharp, it makes it look like the hair is solid sheets rather than a volume.
You did a really great job, still don't like the hair...can you try using planes ? Because you can see like a lego (only one part), the rest is amazing
