yeah, i think that's the case, oh well, hopefully they got some good feedback/info, its a really great mech game so far. going to get my mech on in Mech warrior tactics tonight see how it compares.
That's a bit of a pity. The particles like debris and stuff are really cool, but those turbulence fields feel very unnatural for some reason. Probably because they are all exactly the same size/brightness/density/etc. The tower charging thing looks much better already, just because they're different sizes.
The game has officially launched on Steam. Check it out if you haven't already! I'm no longer at Adhesive, but I'm proud to have spent two years with a great group of people making a great game!

I was just playing some Hawken yesterday since I got one of those early access codes. It's an awesome game and I'm hoping it's introduction on Steam boosts the existing playerbase by a nice amount.

I hope we can turn off those 'super-cool' turbulence fields, they look terrible. The rest of the particles look good though, if a little excessive.
Have the beta installed but haven't actually started playing it yet, must do that soon.
