Nothing to discuss, just balls out awesome. Im just wondering how nobody came out with this idea before. Also, I wanna know more about the artists behind the game, who they are, any portfolios/ previous work?
The guys are from LA, California. And there I was thinking it must be some Japanese or Korean dudes. The environments are downright boner inducing. Really solid art direction and scale is definitely spot on. I'd definitely like to see more.
Reminds me of Armored Core but way more impressive. If they smooth out some of the animations and get some 2ndary motion on the legs when they're flying I think I'll love it all the more.

I think there might be one or two Korean/Japanese dudes in LA =P
Looks pretty sweet, though I have a bit of mixed feelings towards some parts of the environment. The first shot of the video looks really awesome and future-dank-urban, but the second shot feels a bit too greebly. I'm assuming that's just because it's still in heavy development, though.
Anyone got an idea/image of what the player P.O.V. is like? This footage looks like it's done with spectator cams only.
Visually it reminds me of Killzone 2-3, just with less bloom blurry lensflare glare all over the screen as a postprocess to hide low res textures and shadows, this looks waaaaaay better. The animations need work of course as do the particle effects but i'll be damned if that isn't some hot shit.
Amazing what you can do with UDK. I seriously thought they were some Ex-Guerilla game folk with the engine until I saw the UDK logo :P
Lovely lovely. 9 months work? These guys can be very proud of themselves. As mentioned, bar some in flight animation issues this is very polished indeed. Lets hope its as fun to play as look at. Extra thumbs up to the concept/enviro team, these are some outstandingly well realised futuristic cities. Do I smell some stefan morrell here?
This looks lovely. the city is just damn impressive. Lighting really kicks. What really pisses me of is the reaction by some people on common game forums. While a few people really appreciate the look and quality of the game I've seen quite a few comments who really brag about quality here. And they don't mean animation or lack of sound. They cry about mediocre quality.
I don't get this people. I mean sure most of them don't know shit about grafics and how its created and some are just some trolls that bitch about everything but anyway how can you not see the quality those guys are delivering.
Especially when you consider that this is an indie development with 9 months of work. I think it's incredible.
Edit:
And what I'm also asking my self. I reall enjoy this style and I'm impressed by the quality. But if a certain part of the target audience is really not appreciating this (I hope this part isn't the majority) where do they expect us to go.
Are some people really that used to brown-grey dusty middle east military scenarios that they disapprove everything else what delivers abit of visual freshness.
Browsing comments on game forums leaves me cluesless for who we are working for.
the buildings were amazingly done...cant wait..and yea the mechs had this weird...stall between their jump and when they were flying or was it a video issue idk but overall i would buy it
Yes, there is choppiness in the mech locations in the video, its because it was captured in slow motion with a spectator camera from demos recorded from network games. Actual network play looks fine.

Very cool overall atmosphere to the game. I like missiles.
