Karkasmolenklok, i dont feel like fixing the handgaurd !!! LOL just another misnamed knife. Lotsa knives, especailly in australia are misnamed. I was doing a lotta research. Plus, i rather like the handgaurd. Sets it apart from the Kukri and Tribalman's Shiv. A shiv is another work for homemade weapinf, like shank....theres that research.
Alright, I've done a better job with the textures by splitting em up onto seperate "sheets" one for the blade, one for the handle, and one for the gaurd. With out that, i cant get any decent detail or have the thing look right. AT ALL.

I was thinking rather the opposite, that the barely noticeable handguard made it look too much like the kukri, when having a fuller one would set it apart more.
And the tribalman's doesn't have one at all to my knowledge.
Hmmm. Maybe. Maybe. But i already textued. Lets see how it sticks up, ive still got 4 weeks. IM hoping the croc skin will help. I rather like how the rivets came out.

TF2 weapons in general look better without blood. Blood tends to make weapons look ridiculous in a negative way.
Okay. My computer cant read the stupid files i was recommended. The hat tutorial isnt helping much because i have blender. all i have is a .qc file and i dont know what to do.

Im using blender (i've managed to export a smd)studiomdl.exe isnt working, i dont know where to save this #### and im not sure itll even work because i have three texture files for the dang thing. THREE. The earlier versions used one, but id always get stuck with these stupid lines merging over. I just wanna view the stupid thing in game as a "skin" over the kukri. Someone help becuase I feel like quiting right here, and now. (And im gonna be pretty ticked that all of this hard work was for naught)
The sniper need automatic rifle: slow reload, weak shoot (like pistol) and the last bullet on clip always is critical.

If you want a weapon like that in the game, make it yourself.
I found THIS really helpful when I was trying to compile. I recommend watching the youtube video that is linked there. Because although it goes through some basic stuff it makes the thread alot easier to understand.

More concept art for sniper. The cowbone seems more likely for sniper as a hat than a koala. Makes sense. Donno how id explain sniper wearing a stuffed koala on his head. Cowbone looks cool. Donno what im gonna write on the mugs, need two different things for the teams. Something like Number one shot. Need a suggestion here.

I do hope that drinking it gives him a benifit of somesort. But, thats up to Valve, seeing as this is an art contest.
