Still need names for my gun and Hat, suggestions welcome. For the gun, I'd like to have some play on the word Gauze, as I based it on a gauss rifle. For the hat maybe some acroymn for a shock cap or something? i'm really at a loss on the hat.
Like I said, earlier, can't you replace the first parts of the cords on the defib?
It looks so weird when the first part is in curls and the later part is completely straight :S

I'm feeling ya. I was at work all Sunday from 2 PM to midnight so I knew it was physically impossible to submit them Sunday night. So I set up 7 AM Sunday morning as the last possible moment to get everything, including the front page done and submitted in order to get enough sleep to go work at 2.
I finished sending them in and making the presentable first post done at 6:55 AM.
So happy when I went to work knowing I didn't have something waiting for me to do when I got home (as least immediately).
That is an excellent melee concept, I finally see people straying away from the saw concept, and it fits perfectly with the medic. He uses medical equipment incorrectly all the time, why not have him stopping peoples hearts with a defibrillator.
These are brilliant, and something occurred to me: it would be awesome if the lightbulb lit up during an Ubercharge. I realize this is an animation and particle effect combo that would probably be done by Valve, but seriously, how cool would that be?

I dont need a custom icon for the gun as it would just be the standard needles
I did ask in my notes if they'd be willing to put the origonal ammo for the blutsauger, but now I'm not sure if I want it or not.

@Kthon It's actually the same size as the bluts, it only looks massive goes I got the extra hand quard, top metal thing and my cylinder at the front looks pretty big too.
I couldnt get the particle effect to show up in the demo recording it kept crashing! I'll see if I can get some screenshots if I can get it working again
oof! Try to use the electricy particles from the sapper instead, its in the spark.pcf
Just add a new particle in it (duplicate the sparks particle) rename them something like "Zzunder" and modify it (color number of emitions animation of scale/opcaity, etc).
That's what I did for my Electro-Taser.

Oh yes! My modelling skills before this contest consisted of some squares with a few faces extruded! Come a long way since then

Also here was the screen shots for the particle effect, not 100% sure whether they fit with the tf2 style though.
