Oh whoops, forgot to mention the eye sockets of the mask were empty to let pyro's eye holes poke through them, with the red/blue eye color effect being an upcoming confirmed style for the Sight for Sore eyes. Looks great, though the texture looks a little too rough/detailed for tf2 style, but otherwise awesome.
Made my first hat recently. Now what I need to do is get some help making it work ingame. Modeling hats in Blender apparently won't work for mounting a hat to a head.
I know a professional model painter, so I have an angle on fixing my texture files
I don't have a home printer and if you're getting a company to print stuff, you can only legally print stuff that you have the rights to. So I could do other hibernating bear items but nothing else in game.
One idea that has turned up is that there's some programs out there which would make it fairly straight forward to make papercraft plans for TF2 weapons. I doubt anyone would object to me releasing a couple of those into the wilds of the internet.
Might be the texture size limitations with the size of the hat, it could probably be fixed by separating the hat into a Flamenco hat and Calavera misc. but I imagine the clipping on all other hats might be a bit big.
Thanks for the heads up. I'm fixing the proportions of the stock right now
Edit: Just saw the new items for the summer update. A new blazer for the spy seems awesome, also congrats to the guy who made the cop helmet. It got in.
Great hat! Whats the tri count on that? looks big.
Also have you checked to see if the heavy's jaw clips through the sides, they expand for certain facial expressions.
The American Eagle is looking great so far, I do have a Rocket Launcher that sorta goes with it if you want to do it as part of a pack (Might have a better chance of getting in that way, although I don't have a melee for it).

ya that would be great, dont think i will be able to get to it right away, since i got a party to go to tonight and have plans tomorrow, but just post it and i will give it a shot when i got time.

Alright well this is the Rocket Launcher I have to go with it I guess.
Yay! My golf items got in. A little depressed that they oversaturated the texture and made the phong much stronger on the hat and made the golf club just an Eyelander clone, but meh. Just happy to get more items put in.
So, i was working on a second eye patch for the demo
here is what i have ATM
The texture is not finished, and i dont really know how to make it turn out good. I'am really hopping that some of you might help me. Maybe you roninsmastermix ?
@Passerby: That shotgun looks pretty cool; Only problem i have with it atm is the sharpness of the bumps on the stock at the back; Other than that it looks pretty badass, Especially the star

I can only imagine what that looks like on a Pyro.
as if it was rushed
EDIT: Updated to newer pictures with barnacles included.
That's pretty awesome actually, are there any plans involving it?

Pretty much done here. (Unless any of you spot something that needs to be changed.)
now for level 2...
still trying to get a good shape on the main block and the shell ejection before i start the stock and refine it all.
The American Eagle also looks pretty great so far.
basic concept is done, now to detail, uv, and texture it.
Honestly i loved it more when it was on the side. Made it looks unique. Otherwise a really good model.

Valve just added this in-game. Thanks to everyone who helped me out on the suggestions and input. I'm in cloud nine right now.
looks good but how many tris are there? looks like it might have a rather large tri count
Currently ~3500 tris, but I want to optimize mesh.
Btw, I was thinking a better name might be the "Jalapeno", just gives a more spicy mexican feeling.

The Dragon's Talisman
(Here's a more accurate head shape, I didn't make the jaw open enough in the other ref)
For anyone else interested I guess I also do have some other concepts though these are just Miscs.
The Scratch-N-Sniff
The Booze Hound
im taking off tonight but here is the latest shot of the American Eagle
also here are some wires, as you can see i block things out kinda messy so i will need to optimize things a bit before i unwrap and try it in engine.
thinking i may change the proportions a bit, it looks like my stock is too wide.

Just finished my vietnam themed soldier hat:
Woo! that looks wicked! Could you do the tomislav? XD
It should help a lot on how to make things fit into TF2 universe
That is just awesome. The feeling of vietnam is easily seen, and it fits TF2 wonderfully. Great work.
