I love that you are working in all mediums! Cause 3D is the new medium of coarse and its awesome I especially like your watercolors they are really nice ! Keep it up!
Glad you like my work. I think its important to have basic knowledge in some mediums. Not all are necessary, but having a bit of skill in PS and 3d Max can make your life easier. Traditional Art is also good for having drawing skills. They are always good, even if you just model stuff its good to be able to draw. My opinion, my thread
This one is for college. First piece for Illustration. Topic is 'Best way to break up' combined with 'head'. I hope y'all get it, if not, I fail!
First of all a little announcement that is not so new as it is here for quite a time now. I went 5th in Unearthly Challenge with my entry. Makes me superhappy. First 4 places went totally to china. Their entries were massive!
You can see them here: http://www.unearthlychallenge.com/2009/ucfinals/finals_1.php
Next is some stuff I did over the last two weeks:
The Aligalope
The Failbot
The palace of the nerd
Priest of turtles
And a commisioned work for a browsergame called 'Overwatch'.
awesome stuff man,
Love the turtle priest but I think he could use a little more highlighting/definition or somethnig around his head. It kinda blends into the rest of the picture and gets lost in the details.
Thank you! I try to stay productive as far as studies allow to... or my motivation. But as you see I am quite motivated these days.
Went for Prag last weekend and had this in mind afterwards. Had to paint it:
And I did a little traditional Animation in Photoshop. Was a lot fun, except the PS animationtool side... Hope y'all like it (Watch it in HD on Youtube please, looks rubbish in here):
Thank you! There will be a big update in august, as I am currently doing a internship for my studies at Bigpoint Berlin. I work on http://drakensang.de as a concept artist. Really cool job there.
I will perhaps have some new stuff before then, but we'll see. I'll upload more stuff to deviantart now
Some more stuff from Bigpoint Berlin. We released another big update last week in Drakensang Online with quit a few environment and prop stuff from me. Will update everything soon. Here are the first three bits:
Few props:
And a marketing illustration. Its supposed to be a background for a creature made by Christian Nauck. Spared out the creature for the sake of showing my background
Really neat stuff! I like the mood in most of the landscape concepts. I particularly enjoy the oceanic scenery and the Drakensang props, and of course the latest one as well! :P
