Hey there! I'm Justin Bettencourt. I'm a junior environment and character artist. I signed up here to look at some of the amazing work and talent, give constructive criticism, and hopefully also get some constructive criticized.
Hello, I am Ruskeydoo's brother, a mathematician and mathematical artist. My artwork is mostly in 3d printing, so involves lots of messing around with NURBS and meshes etc. Not so much on the texturing yet!
Hello everyone.
Just started modelling after being inspired by some cool stuff I found here.
Hopefully I will have some things to contribute very soon.
I've always been loyal to traditional and 2D media as my forms of artistic expression. I recently took a dive into the world of 3D and I almost want to be ashamed at how fast it has taken dominance over all my old methods.. but as a creature lover, I've never made art so alive, been able to handle it like this, or had such a power to get the anatomy -just right-. It's just so cool, I can't help that this is my new favorite method for creation.
I have a lot to learn and when my search for knowledge brought me to this forum, I knew I had to join! The info here is valuable and it looks like a good crowd so far. It's great to join!
I'm a 3D Artist and Level Designer from Germany working in the Industry for almost 6 Years now. After reading Polycount for years now I decided to finally share some of my work
Hey, my name is Karlo and I'm a 3D generalist mostly interested in modeling and animation. Here is a picture of my latest work for the Mixamo Fantasy Contest a while ago:
After lurking for a few days I decided to create an account. I've been messing around in 3ds max and unity3d for about 5 months now. My goal is to make a career out of this, and I know this forum is gonna help me do it.
Hello! I am excited to now be a part of Polycount, as I have been told countless times I should be on here as it is a place where I can get a great amount of advice and tips, and also just showcase my work and see others.
I studied Game Art & Design for about a year and a half but before going to college for it, never really kept up on my art as I should have. I am joining this site in hopes that it will keep me motivated and actually practice my art and fine tune it, see what I like to do, and just make me better.
I look forward to communicating with everyone on here and can't wait to dip myself into this forum, I am always thoroughly impressed when I look at the Polycount Recap. The amount of talent on here is amazing. Everyone on here is always such a great help to others, from what I've seen when I have just browsed the forums.
I currently work as a graphic designer, but I've always wanted to work as an artist for video games. I'm currently working on my portfolio for that purpose, going through tutorial books and practicing. I'm a beginner-intermediate when it comes to 3D modeling and texturing, but am excited to learn from all of you.
Hi there poly count! I'm gonna graduate from a game art design course this year and I'm looking to get feedback on my work to get up to professional speed before I do. I welcome all thoughtful critique and am more than happy to return the favor. Thanks in advance and looking forward to getting to know you all!
Hi people, I'm Matt and I'm a freelance programmer. I've been doing it for around 5 years and I've started developing for the iPad recently. I'm looking for artists to help make mostly 2D type sprites, but I'll post that in the job forum soon. Anyway, good to meet you all, and thanks to Tenchi for bringing me here
I'm a late entry into the CG world. Was in logistics for 5 years before my passion for gaming and cg drove me to quit my job and start learning game designing. I'm far behind but hopefully with your help, someday I can contribute as much as you guys do . Meanwhile, just trying to build up my skills to create a decent portfolio to get started in the industry.
So see you soon with some updates of my own hopefully
I'm an industry veteran (mostly in the RTS genre) and have always loved Polycount. The Escape challenge sounds very intriguing, so figured it was time to join up!
