Okay third time trying to post this, as this forum keeps logging me out before I'm done typing...
Hi all
As instructed by the institute where I study at AIE, Melbourne, I am to create an account here at the polycount forums. Hopefully it will help me learn more and get me out of the many death pits I fall into when trying to wrap my head around the many things there are to 3D Art.
I'm a 3D/2D artist. I'm the art lead (only artist) at Black Jacket Games. We're responsible for Metal Drift on Steam and we're currently working on Slime City for windows and iPad.
I'm looking for freelance work to pay the bills as we hunt for investors.
Let me know if you know anyone with lots of money who likes making risky investments.
I am new to Polycount and my goal is to make the best Dota 2 items!
I have Maya Autodesk 2013 and I have taken a look at a few tutorial videos.
I am looking forward to working with you!
PS: Really loving how the site looks! Seen soooo many forums with terrible layout and design. GJ!

Hey folks. Here introducing myself. I teach animation and game design at Living Arts College in Raleigh, NC. I have a number of students and colleagues that frequent this forum, so I thought I'd join up as well.
I'm an 3D art enthusiast and programmer currently working as an IT Manager for the government. I'm looking forward to interacting with others on this forum in order to gain more knowledge and experience with creating and working with 3D art.
hi, im a programmer artist, i primarily work with my own software, at the moment im just working on lowpoly handpainted models, including environments, heres a sample of my current work.
I am an artist with a traditional background looking to sharpen his 3D skills before applying to the Spring term of Gnomon. Hopefully we'll see some progress =]
Student with an interest in art here, I'll be looking to message Adam later on for a request to change my username, as I find my current name to be possibly offending.
I didn't really think it through when I created this account, so I'll try and get this changed ASAP.
Anyway, good luck to everyone new and here's to hoping we can all learn something, eh?
