Hi! I'm a college student teaching myself (or at least attempting to, haha) 3D modeling as part of an independent study this semester. A lot of threads here have helped me out, so I figured I should finally stop lurking about!
Hey there! I'm starting with game development, an idea I've been flirting with for quite a few years but that I hadn't take up really in depth until a few months ago. Now, I'm spending my days modeling and texturing (or trying to, that is) all sorts of... well, walls and floors, and ceilings, but hey, you have to start somewhere, right?
Hi, I'm working on a single item for TF2, the Medical Minidispenser, and seeing as this is both my first model and I've managed to get to the texturing stage (but not animation) in 11 days, I'd say I'm doing remarkably well for a first try.
Still, feedback on how I'm doing with the model will be nice. I will post pictures when I am able to.
Hello, my name is Sam and I'm not necessarily a video game anything.. Enthusiast, maybe?
I plan to make my career in conceptual design and perhaps add 3D modeling later down the road. I'm waiting to raise my GPA and transfer to a school that has a curriculum in video game design.
I got a link to this website from emails I get from Futurepoly, which I've been following for a very long time. I'd like to look around this website better and become inspired by all the talented artists who are already here. I hope one day I might be able to contribute.
I'm currently a student/freelancer/fantasy artist who's passionate about game development. I'm triple majoring in Game Art, 3D Modeling, and 3D Animation (all associates), and I'm an active member of AAUGA, IGDA, etc. It's my final year of school, and I'd like to take this opportunity to fine-tune my portfolio before entering the "real world." Hopefully I can learn a few things, improve my art, and become a part of this wonderful community.
Hello! I am a graduate student at the Guildhall at SMU studying art creation for video games. I am currently focusing on improving my skills as an environmental artist and can't wait to explore the wonders of Polycount!
Hi all, I'm a first year student on a Games Art course at St Helens College. Just thought I'd drop by and introduce myself before I start to ask to many stupdi questions.
I am a Game Art student studying for Concept Art in California. I especially love designing environments/characters and world development. I'm excited to learn the fundamentals for Game Art and I'm glad to have come across a wonderful community like this.
Hey Hello there, Am I suppose to make my first post here? Well, anyway I am here to learn and share whatever it is to know about video game art. Thank you for making this kind of forum. Cheers!

For now, I'm just passing by to give feedback to ShoeBox's author

I am glad to be in polycount, I hope I can improve my 3D skills and help when is needed.
Your time, efforts and sacrifice (I am sure) to provide for the masses is appreciated. Thank you Adam.
Have a good day.
