Hello Polycount! Been a follower for a few months now and decided it's time to start getting known and be apart of this community. I am currently a Game Art student at Full Sail University and love each and every minute of the experience. Looking forward to meeting the incredible artists here and learning from them in the forums.
Hey Polycount, Im a second year design student at UCLAN and have browsed Polycount since first starting uni, only just got round to joining the website though.
I just discovered this website through a friend today, and it was exactly what I was searching for. I'm a 3D animator for television, but I have a passion for videogames and I would like to learn more with the community!
Hi, I'm a long time lurker, and I finally decided to join to participate in the Dota 2 contest. I actually had given up on making the contest but I saw last night that the deadline had been extended. I'm not sure about completing anything worthwhile over a long weekend but I'm going to try. If nothing else I'll already be on Polycount so I can get feedback on my various 3d doodles and the like.
Hello there, I'm Alex and I came here per accident, after looking for a good reference for a Scanner from Half-Life 2.
I use Metasequoia and make Items for a program named MikuMikuDance. Though I already made a whole outfit, I rather prefer weapons and other hand held items. I don't usually use textures, and if, they're awfully simple. I also have this knack for details...
Hi everyone! I've been visiting this forum for a few months and have been too shy to comment. I am currently learning Maya and want to connect and learn from the talented people on this site!
Time to get out there(here) and improve myself. I will make a thread soon and put my work on it, hoping to get ripped apart and learn as much as I can.
Hello there everyone. I can't remember if I posted here or not...I signed up a long time ago but I waited until I took a course in 3d modeling before actually deciding to be active. Didn't want to be completely clueless. I hope I can learn more here.

I have been a member for a couple of years and been a visitor for a long time. However, I think I have not said hello properly, so, hello.
Visiting the forum and seeing the work created by artists has and will always inspire me and as an artist that helps. In the last couple of years, I have been doing 3d work and have highly enjoyed it, slowly getting confident with the work.
One day I shall start posting my work up for feedback. However, I do fear the critic from the forum, but I think that will be outweighed by the invaluable feedback from all.

Hi all. I'm a Bachelor of Games Design student from Melbourne, Australia. I'm always working on my 3D environment modelling and would love a place to share it and see others working in the same industry. Anyway, I'll probably be chatting to you all soon on the forums. Cheers!
Hello there polycount I've been visiting your forums for about 4 months and started modeling around 1 month ago! I'm still a noob and I'm looking forward to learning more from this site, I'm a student and my proff told me to take a look here!
Hi Polycount. I just registered and was told to post here to get my account approved.
I wanted to say hello and thank this site for providing me with many tutorials in the past and for being a constant in the 3D modeling community.
I've always been an amateur and just dabbled in 3D modeling for fun, but now I'm entering in the Valve Polycount Contest so I signed up for an account. I am not sure how the new user approval works but if you can approve me by tomorrow so I can post my entry I'd really appreciate it. I've been without internet and just got it back. Thanks!
