Hello! I am an amateur digital artist who wants to take a step into the world of 3D. This site seems like a great place to gain some knowledge on the subject, as well as get feedback and inspiration.
here's a little background: I am a Full Sail & DAVE School Graduate, I currently work with a company doing Visualization for Architecture. Whether it be a beauty shot of the work completed and thriving or showing the steps of construction in stills or video that's pretty much what we do. Have always loved gaming, movies, and animation which is kinda why I went down this career path.
Came here to learn how to do modeling for games, specifically environments and hopefully to learn texturing better since it's never been a strong suit of mine. I already have 2 or 3 projects in mind to help get me started with learning, hopefully I can find some helpful tips along the way to push me forward.
My name is Julie and I am a 3D Modeler specializing in Props and Environments for animation with some texturing experience on the side. I also 3D Model for video games. Main programs I use are Maya, 3D studio max, Zbrush and Photoshop. Looking forward to learning with everyone! Feel free to contact me.
3D modelling is a fun and relaxing hobby and is something I really enjoy doing. There is always something new and different to create (or learn) and it never gets old or boring. I'm looking forward to meeting others who share the same passion for 3D modelling, creating game art, etc and posting various pieces here.
I'm currently a student studying Game-graphics, I focus on 2D but I do love to model from time to time. Hopefully I can use polycount for critiques and to help me become a better artist. (:
What's up people.
Just introducing myself to this awesome community. Been a lurker for a while but finally decided to join. I'm graduating in the next four weeks and would like to get my work critiqued, and participate in a community of artists such as this. My goal is to be a character or prop modeler and that is going to take some work. I look forward to getting to know some of you and participating in this community. Cheers.
Yo! I've got experience with digital painting and some experience with Maya, and I'm shooting for expanding my 3D knowledge even more by delving further into Maya, and also learning some Unreal and Zbrush. Polycount seems like the place to be for all of the above! Looking forward to learning and improving.
