Hello, have to make my first post in here! I am a Recruiter for the video games industry. I specifically look at recruiting cool artists for Mobile Studios.
Hi all. I'm just getting started in CG and found these forums looking for inspiration. I've been really impressed with the work I've seen, along with the positive attitude of the community in general.
Bonjour Adam and the Polycount community! I am a beginner game designer. I started a not so simple fan project with the basis of using the core engine i create for original work later on. The project is unpaid, solely for experience, and will be a pillar for future projects by providing a flexible plugin system meant for on the fly modifications. I was drawn to this site as the very skill i lack is 3d modeling. in fact, i curremtly cannot model even if i knew how thanks to my pc being on its last limb (with a replacement comming soon). I hope to get help from talented individules in some NCW with intentions of future freelance commisioned work including a percentage of royalties and even learn a trick or two for private work on my own. It has been a long dream of mine to create a game with my own concept to it. I am hoping this community will aid in this dream to reality.
Hi there! I'm a genuinely terrible Blender artist although I have made the 2D artwork for some pretty ancient games from the Acorn era. Right now I'm looking for an artist or two for some freelance game dev work, probably for the Sony platform. Recent projects include Velocity, Velocity Ultra and Coconut Dodge on the PS Vita. I'm also here in the hope of learning a bit about modelling, texturing and the like. My hobbies include stalking, porn and the television series Farscape.
I am new here and have to make my first post
I am learning 3D stuff like maya, zbrush.....and hope you guys can help me if I have some newbie questions :poly142:
I've signed up for an account for help and advice on my 999th attempt at getting into doing art for games - I leave in my wake several dead projects and folders perpetually labeled as 'unfinished'.
I've decided to start doing some weapon skins for CS:GO and maybe -but probably not- find my copy of 3DSM from a job that may or may not have made me remove most of my hair and start doing some Dota2 modelling.
This is my 1st post... there's a 1st for everything isn't there?
I've been involved with making game art for a long time now and I must admit I'm blown away at the level of talent in this forum. Happy to now finally be a part of the 3D art collective.

My name is Battz, I am an animator.
I'm an aspiring 3D artist currently working my way through a Game Design course.
I've been a watcher of Polycount and it's many amazing Threads and Artists for several years and I hope to contribute some art of my own soon enough.
P.S. whoever posts after me is obviously a legend.
Thanks!
thanks.
All the best, Ben from Australia!
