Hey guys ^_^ So much information here, I love it.
With myself starting my studies in Game Art a few months ago it is natural I have to come here, so here I am.
Third year computer arts student, specializing in real time Environment art.
I been using the forum for a couple of years to aid my studies at university and thought it was about time I joined.
I'll be mainly looking to gain crit on my work and develop further as an artist, hopefully give out some constructive crit too.
Hello Polycount. I actually joined the forum last September for a university art jam, but I'm hoping to update more frequently from this spring onwards. I've completed my degree and I'm currently doing contract work as a casual games artist for a fellow alumni's LLC. I'm looking to expand my competency in digital sculpting pipelines ala Zbrush along with materials texturing and rendering. I know this community will be a terrific resource.
Hi, I'm joining because I need help with a model. I had a model made by someone else, has a custom skeleton and all but they were unable to get it on a valve_biped skeleton. I attempted to figure it out on my own but was unsuccessful.
Would this be an acceptable site to make a request? In the future if I cant find anything I might be willing to pay a few bucks to get it rigged.
Even though I'm not an organized studio or anything nor am I trying to make a game, I could still use the request forum right?
Hey I'm Ando, but actually Andrew. I'm registering here finally after years of lurking. I've finally started the long journey to break into the gaming industry and Polycount will surely be a huge part of that journey. I've directed a lot of people who have expressed interest in gaming art here and I mention this place often in small talk. Feels good to finally be out of the shadows.
Hello!
I'm an environment artist with few years of experience and knowledge (plus big love) of UDK's shaders and procedurally generated art scenes. Also a very long-time Polycount lurker.
Hello, finally got around to creating an account here. Looking forward to getting some inspiration and having some critiques thrown my way. Also had some rendering issues I was hoping to get some help with.
Glad to be a new member of Polycount. I'm a game studio owner with tiny art bone and lots of questions. We do most of our stuff in Unity and work with both a local and distributed crew of amazing guys/gals.
Hello. I'm a guy who got interested into 3D modelling thanks to the Dota2 workshop and found the activity to be of his liking. I'm still painfully new to this, and I struggle hard with texturing, but I hope being here will help me hone my skills to something worthy of your time. Maybe things as amazing as what some of you have done.
My names mcgoo and I'm an engineer that designs and builds 3d printer aka additive manufacturing machines. So I'm always looking for a great model to print and try out resolutions. If you'd like to share an awesome model with me, I'll send you a print in exchange for me using it as a demo model to showcase my machine.

I'm an environment artist looking to improve and get critiques upon my work. I have a lot to learn and here seems to be a good place for that.
