have some ingame action of my student game. have only some month left. small team. the vid shows the first small section. try to get some better quality. should try to upload it on youtube huh but its for you guys. its funny to play with head tracking and wiimote. jumping in the room und crouching ^^ hope that link works. its realy low oh yeah no sound. dont know why, but no sound... its bad -.-
Have I seen that ship before? Thought there was one posted a long time ago similar. Looks nice though. A sweet shot from the back would look nice, like it was about to take off into a light jump or something
Scooby that is looking really great man has a ton of style to it! The only thing that really stand out to me is the folds of the cheeks are really harsh, yet very thin, I think it would help to soften them a bit. None the less looks great!
Pixelchaot - like that too. Really cross the cliche line of all ZB models in Internerd. What is going to be? A Print?
thank you Lampoly for the kind words! No print or something its only a comic style parctice.
it starts like a little funsculptingsession between a friend and me we take a theme and lets go...
he is that one how makes the concept for the spongebug that i post here befor...i know that his prince of darkness
would be really evil and highly detailed. so I ask my workmate for a quick cartoony king of darkness (this was a 2 minute scetch from him)
he comes from a animated cartoon school Sooo this was just 4 fun !
Eraserhead / Ilya Nedyal = vehiclemaster
awsome details and render
(my english sounds weird?!
is a mix of leo.org and rusty school english
sorry for that...^^)
Hey all,
chick head I started working on for a base mesh in mudbox. Ears are all jacked up right now and still needs a lot of work. Hopefully in the end I'll have a nice mesh to use at level 0 or level 1 for a generic head to pull from.
Here's what I've been doing for about a week and a half so far. This is a viewport grab from Max. It's Spawn. I still have to do the chains, some grenades, possibly the cape, and also the transition for where the leg meets that stump thing and I haven't taken the spikey knuckle thing or a few of the straps through zbrush yet. But once that's all done, it's low poly time.

I've been working on this for two days :P Hehe, the hardest part was setting up the scene to get the render to look nice. I'm still a noob, I know ^^
I tried to keep the topology mostly on quads and pentagons but you can spot some artifacts on the sides, near the rim, due to the bad topology :S Anyway I'm happy with it P:
There's a lot of exciting stuff happening on these forums at the moment! Apologies for not posting much in the last few months. I've been keeping pretty busy at work and I'm only just getting going with my own stuff again.
Here's a couple of bits.
Some quick thumbnails I've been doing in my lunchtimes. Just trying to get a feel for compositions and value, really:
Some silhouettes for a COW challenge I didn't finish:
15 minute studies from shorpy.com from a while back:
I'll hopefully be posting stuff a lot more regularly from now on. I've got some ideas for kerazy vehicles and designer toys that I want to get on with.
I die a little every time someone posts something as amazing as that and calls it scripples and thumbnails... Spectacular work, Nick! I heartly dig those 15 minute studies! That steam train is perfection.

Klash - Nice stuff! Way to take an ordinary prop like a crate and make it interesting to look at! Really solid.
which software are you using?
Hair in C4d isn't exactly novice stuff but after a few minutes you can create some amazing results.
That ain't a bad thing.
small update on the ears
She's in Watchmen.
She gets nekkid.
What were we talking about?

Cheers, Nick.
He needs eyelashes & alpha hair still. Eyes are handled via Source so, hence no iris. Still no spec map.
