Made a sculpt of an old man today. I've been spending a lot of time studying the skull lately and I found that looking at references of old people was a pretty good way of seeing where the bony landmarks are as well as some of the facial muscles.
Some sculpts I made losely based on a pine grosbeak and a chickadee-
One hour and one hour and around 15min for the second. Seems like it should've taken longer but if you look closely you can tell i was super sloppy XD
Blaken: great work! , I like a lot the character.
JamesWarren: I love the detail you put on it. Gorgeous Render, how much time did it take to render?
A quik sculpt for fun:
@Wipeout! Nice I really dig your stylized work. Hope you do some more of it this year. Your Back water speed is dope! For those of you that don't know what i'm talking about, THIS IS WIPEOUTS back water piece.
Great proportions...and just the character of it. Solid stuff!

Awesome, man! Glad you like it! I've definitely got some more cartoony stuff coming down the line, both for work and for personal projects. As soon as I can show them off, I definitely will! Thanks again! And your stuff is cool too-- lots of character in that dragon, especially!
PS. Grubber-- cool stuff, man! I like the bulky muscles on both, and the asymmetrical horns of the second duder.
Something I was fiddling around with last night. Trying to learn to use Dam_Standard a bit more for fleshing things out. Mostly a study on technique as opposed to laying out form and muscle volumes (since he is a bit gelatinous and goopy)

It kinda looks like a semi-sea monster for me.
1hour derpy giant
2,5 hour practice sculpt, had some problems with the arms, still looks a little funny.
Also his head is too small
Quesocotl: Thanks! It's Mental Ray with the Fake it scene pack from Mike Nash that Neox mentioned earlier.
Some Hangout sculpting from yesterday
Just for fun:
