Psyk0, yeah early on I had decided to go for thick strands... as I wanted to avoid cards and transparency. I think I could have made it work better but I didnt want to get hung up on that aspect and neglect the rest. I rarely finish these things
ScudzAlmighty, the goat ?
makecg,Jungsik cheers !
phillip.bailey, I googled that expression and google responded with a statement saying thats a redneck expression for oh damn! haha
wi_2, hey thanks. If you have any specific questions feel free to email or pm me. I try to respond but something things get hectic

jakelear; I was doing some sketching tonight so with your request in mind I'll see if I can demonstrate some stages of the latest piece.
Cheers guys,
ScudzAlmighty, I did a little more work on him. I need to change up the arms a bit. I am definitely excited about the head/multi jaw so I may sculpt that aspect
Swizzle haha
Gav, if only you loved me for who I am !
gibson543 time lapse sounds tough... :O
jakelear, hah I struggle to finish work but hey who knows
n88tr, I didnt really think about it to be honest - which is why its not in sync with the proportions of the body
StefanH thanks
onelung Cheers
Ok so this latest piece has been a struggle. the polypaint version is a bit messy but I have been experimenting with toggling polypaint on and off as I sculpt. I want to keep in mind the detail level of the model and how it will affect the flesh patterns,
The character is inspired by a movie that inspired me as a child, Nightbreed.
Your works are literally my favorite of anyone i've seen yet.
I was wondering about the polypaint, do you just do it fully in zbrush with their brushes and alphas or do you use zApplink and do much of your painting in photoshop?
hey im a nobody, but I think your hands might be a bit splayed out.
I think the pose makes them look amphibian?
maybe thats what your going for, but the thumb in particular looks a bit beyond human tarsil bone structure.
Other than that I hope I can one day make a deltoid that looks as sexy as that.
moose, yeah maybe eventually. I am having a few copies made which will be split into parts as I plan on 'attempting' to make a resin kit based on the print. If everything works out there should be a painted version.
Jon, costs haven't been finalised however I believe the print is costing around £300, the casts more. I can give you details when I get the confirmation.
murph the print is handled by Ownage. They do high quality prints and have a range of manufacturing methods available. I certainly recommend them however they are usually busy with large orders.
crazyfool, DDuckworth and JasonLavoie yeah everyone should get prints done! Its worth saving up for one

I have to say, I'm completely entranced with your concepting style.
Your style is already pretty transparent but I, for one, would looove love love to see step by step screengrabs of your character paints.

In the future when I'm more financially capable I might be interested in commissioning a big print if that's something you would be interested in.

Thanks guys, Neo_God I dont think I'll paint the print after it took me forever to get it textured on the 3d model.
