Really nice work guys, the last pic reminds me of Quake 3 style deathmatch, if you guys can get that working for ya, hell, I'd buy Crisis just for this
Seriously, this entire project is looking fantastic! Some of the best stuff I have seen on Polycount and it's all in one thread! lol I definitely want to see more of this, so keep the progress coming guys, top notch team you got working on this thing honestly.
Were looking for prop and environment modelers, were shooting for a nice promotional piece by xmas. Hit me up on my email or on our forums if your interested.
Damn this stuff looks like Tiighhhht. I really love the unreal style you guys have going. I always thought the art of unreal was killer even if the gameplay sucked nuts.
If i weren't in school right now i'd be all over trying to get in on this mod. Good luck guys.
I love everything about this mod in so many ways, EPIC work. I'd like to be a part of this as soon as I finish up my schooling. I'll continue watching this thread and I'm sure you guys will continue to keep these amazing models coming
Thanks again everyone, were really humpin for a media release soon. We are currently looking for a web designer as well to build us a new site and maintain it. We need a sleek clean easy to read website up for our media release.
Hi Darkmatter, Im really impressed and hope you have an extremely successful media release, Ive always had huge respect for Stefan Morrell, Tor Frick and Robert Bergh, all are so talented, youre very talented too.
I have seen some great stuff on this thread, and cant wait to see more. Good luck and best of luck!!
I just wanted to let everyone know were still here and actively working towards an in game demo. Were always in need of concept and 3D artists with a good feel for our style scifi art. If your ever interested, by all means contact me at rrichards@digitalarmadagamestudios.com or skype = username is d4rkm4tt3r. Good texture artists are needed as well.
very cool work!
but there really needs to be some reflections/specularity on the head, it looks really dull and dead right now, also don't go too far with the chromatic aberation, also i'd move the wrinkles between the eyes (between temporalis and procerus) more up on the very base of the nose
also the suits look a bit stiff, but thats nothing you couldn't correct with the rig later
Hello everyone. We have held off on posting for some time due to working with studios seeking to be picked up. We were contacted by a studio head who wishes to bring us to publication. In order to do so, we need a list of items gathered first. One of those items is a 10 to 20 second teaser. We have the 2 environment concepts ready and have begun white boxing the environment. We have to hit a "Home Run" here. I am looking for the following....
The backgrounds look a great deal darker than I'm used to in recent games. Reminds me of "Alien" but with a much higher budget.
This is a good thing.
The female character designs are very good, in my opinion, they show a lot of character, and they look charming, they're not generic "babes" like I've been seeing for the past decade and a half.
The dudes are from Gears of War. Honestly, people will view that as a blatant knockoff. You guys need to go less bulky. Look at people from Mass Effect. They're fit, and look like they could kick butt easily, however they are not "hulk"-shaped.
At least, if you keep such bulky characters, you guys should at least even it out by having some less bulky guys, and not all a football team.
My opinion so far:
It looks like a game I'd purchase, I'd probably wait for reviews, and wait until it was around $20-30.
Although, it's in early stages, I will keep my eye on it. Maybe you will convince me it will be worth the $60 on launch?

Alot of the team is UT guys.
Here are a few wips.
That wouldn't be a bad thing, after all it would be about then that most people would be able to run Crysis at a decent frame rate.
Future-proofing aside, this is some amazing stuff. It's really shaping up to be the best looking mod ever.
Good luck guys!
