Hey Rick thanks, its cramond island which is more of less oppostie (on the city centre side) Inchcolm. Great day to go out but tide was coming in so couldnt explore as much as I would have wanted.
HP5 is odd, it gives real nice smooth tones some shots and others are full of grain, its a nice film though.
Fantastic shots, Paul. Love the color grading on them.
fomori, awesome photo
Was at my favorite bar yesterday, turned into a bit of an impromptu photo session. Took this one outside while I was having a smoke, of the guy on cleanup duty. Wanted to get used to asking random people for portrait ops. I was trying to find a better angle for the lighting, but he started looking uncomfortable after a couple of shots, so I let him off, lol.
(bit noisy, too, had to crank the iso due to the lack of lighting)
Awesome shot Arac. I really love how it gets the curvature of the earth, and just enough cloud coverage to know how high you are, while still being able to see the mountains below.
Cross-post: haha, nice one poop. It looks like he's floating.
Kuusamo, northern Finland near Russian border, trekking. Second shot is from a cabin on the way where we stayed to warm up a bit. It's funny sounds seem to absorb in this environment. If you clap your hands or shout -theres no echo.
I'm going to go ahead and second Rick here, that shot kicks ass Paul.
That said, the tangent being formed with the left tip of his hat and the distant bystanders is kind of odd. I can't figure out if I like it for its surreal quality or of it distracts from the message of scale that's being conveyed by the POV and composition.

LoTekK, cool lighting on that portrait; getting random people to stand for photos is something I'm getting into myself.
Took this one about a week ago in the SoDo industrial district south of downtown Seattle:
Love the industrial stuff man. The lens is the trusty old Nikkor af 50mm f/1.8
It's a great lens!
I love your framings! You have a great photographer eye!

Is it intentional that his shadow is missing? I agree though, he's not quite blending in the B&W
Taken a few days ago in NYC:

Thanks! It was a particularly magic morning. it's so rare we get weather like this in the south of England.
This arrived yesterday, my new toy.
I got hold of an old polaroid swinger a couple of months back to do some stuff, turns out the film is incredibly expensive for it.
It uses 120 (medium format film) which is still readily avaible, and I desperately want one, damn you paul!
