That was pretty good. I think it would have been markedly improved if they removed the scene with the space marine guys entirely though. It kinda works against the grounding that they're going for in the rest of the short.
Sure the art isn't great, but the gameplay looks like it could be really fun.
it wasn't so much the art, I quite like the human characters and some of the werewolves, it's more an overall unsureness. Between the awkward song at the beginning, the ps1-era emptiness of the levels and a weird sense of tone throughout, everytime something looked interesting something else just didn't.
I'm not writing it off as the gameplay looks fun, but with a world that... let's say quirky, it may be too hard to stay interested in.
Looks like a modern take on The Horde from back around the mid nineties. I remember really enjoying that game. This version looks like there's a bit more emphasis on hand-to-hand combat but the basics are pretty similar.

With gathering photo material, and doing sketches, once you get photo material it's pretty much cutting things out and matching together.
