Disney's new animated movie is a kind of Incredibles with Video Game characters. Particularly interest, it features a bunch of cameos by actual characters - The scene of the Bag Guys Annonymous meeting shot, for example, features Zangeif and M Bison, Dr Eggman/Robotnik, Bowser, A House of the Dead zombie, a Pacman ghosts and a few other characters who I'm sure I've seen elsewhere.
Who was supervising director on Futurama and has directing credits on a bunch of the best Simpsons episodes in the earlier seasons as well as a few good Futuramam eps. Given Brad Bird came from pretty much the same background and looking at what he's achieved with Pixar, I dare say this might be another good reason to check this out.
