Yeah. I desperately need to practice and concept tagging seems to hold me attention better than just drawing regularly. I think I'm almost getting to a passable quality. Maybe a few more tags.
Jackablade: yeah that's how it is for me most times... something about a blank canvas leaves you hanging. many concept tags i end up taking in a completely different direction than the original, but it really helps me out when i've got something already on the canvas for me to play with. your painting is definitely improving, keep at it.
MetalMind: nice work man, good to see more people in the thread.
spacey: and there are so many prisoners left for the taking

pity to have lost the little skeleton vulture guy, but i'm sure someone will re-incorporate it
thanks, gauss, yeah I try to keep an eye on my histogram, a lot of darks, so I wanted to spread the range a bit. Usually I just do a levels layer, but I tend to loose control, and the saturation alters from what I intend, so this time I decided to paint in the colors instead of 'cheating' heh.. the white next to the face is really bugging me now, should not have done that.
please pull up a chair and join in the fun, but go back to the first post and bone up on the rules first
that's a good looking model, but the idea is to throw up your -old- material as grist for the mill, not the new, good stuff. it's like recycling--you don't take your good wine glasses off the shelf, you throw in your used or broken beer bottles

Must love this. Very nice balance in colors
I hope to do some tags soon, can I tag myself? If not, somebody do the horse, or the rainbow jets
Plenty to work with here, Eric. I'll get started after work.
edit: and just for fun, guess what program its drawn in
and no, i have no idea where you're going with that. i might pitch in with the madness though
Ha. I totally remember seeing that drawing in prototyping class.

Here is a model I just finished. Concept tag looked like too much fun, so I want in!
