wtf? i posted in this thread, i'm sure of it!
I posted about how i really liked the colours in spacemonkey's painting, and how making the arm/shoulder obscure some shoulderstrap/beard/face from view could make the volume seem much more believeable.
weeeiiiird.
It's those bastard mods againt, isn't it?
I guess this kinda belongs in the speed painting thread... although half of it is photo-manipulation...
Basically I grabbed an image morphing program, took about 10 photos of different actors' faces, blended them all, took it into Photoshop and edited it to try and get someone who I think would work well in a live-action X-Men role, as Gambit...
I think I'm gonna do a high-poly, realistic Gambit model, as if he was going to be placed in the style/costume design of the movies...
Try and guess which actors this image is based on! Note: none of them are Hugh Jackman...
hawken, those are pretty cool! I really like the hair... first one's flesh seems to be lacking saturation in the shadows though, and i really don't like the lips on either of them, they just look fake...
killing, I'm a total fan of your stuff. I was just wondering if you start doodling and eventually mold out what you want or do you have an idea that, "ok I'm now going to draw a fat guy with melted skin and a blonde mustache" ?
you've been watching far too much rocky horror, man.
His eyes sort of look like they've makeup on them, rather than being purple, and having a green shine from under him.
