more like.... 14 15? Some of the features are a little exagerated(tits and ass) but oh well, i've definately seen girls that young with tits that big =D
i had a dream once,
where some monkey face officer from my base was showing up at lunch time, telling us proudly about this 14 yrz old kid he's dating.
Rigged him, in the progress of weighting him right now. He needs some 'bad ass' (haha) tweaking, but I'm proud to be the father of this cute little dino.
Dagontu: You have your own thread, this one is just for random stuff that doesn't deserve its own thread yet (and Eq should have made his girl into a separate thread already). Plus youre breaking the tables and noone likes a tablebreaker .
Here's a Test door from like something of Fifth Element ( Like the Yellow Room doors) I know the texture is little off in some of there areas, but i wanted to know how it looked so far. Thanks and bring on the C&C's
Renauld: Try to keep the control mesh less dense, the subdivision will handle most of the roundness so there's no need to confuse yourself with too many loops.
Fuse: How old is this "kid" meant to be... when I read "kid" I think about 15 years or younger. This mesh seems too old to me, mainly because the eyes are too small, and the jawline is too hard and defined. Basically at the moment it's looking more like a generic guy than an actual kid.
Mop: well what i am trying to accomplish is a boy with somewhat mature/rugged look but still resemble the boyish proportions and looks at the same time, kind of a mix of a realistic boy/stylized character... i agree that he does look more mannish than boyish i will try to resolve his face more
Not bad Cheapy, but you now you need to work on sharper detail/edges. Oh and a 'nudity' warning-sign could be nice for some people around here (unlike me )
Hey EQ, looking cool, clean mesh as we are used to , but I think the mouth needs to come out a bit more (lips also look flat) and the cheekbones are a tad bit to small.
The part from the ear to the "jaw-edge-thingamagiga" (got to get my terminology freshed up ) also seems a bit off (long ?!), even for that style.
Maybe you can also change the proportion of the face a bit, all parts are nearly exactly the same length.
Ramucho is right, its a walken caricature. based off this painting here, if someone remembers the guys name who did this or has a higher res version this let me know, i know one was posted on 4chan but i forgot to save it =(
And i was right, as well: http://www.krugerstars.com/extract/Images/506604FC4AADED6D85256E9D00188A91_$FILE.gif
Sebastian kruger.
I think that, for you to make your model look more like the picture, you'd have to deform his head a lot more. Or just dump the reference, because i really like what you've got now. Very characteristic, but that's what you get when you reference a charicature
Be sure to check out the latest Contest and Challenge if you missed it. Lots of great low poly work! Multiple entries from over fifteen polycounters! This is how I roll...

i thought he was pretty sick.

Nothing is unwrapped, no meshes are final, and I haven't even started the characters or most of the smaller props...
nice modeling Vig !
Ok, decided to bring an old model to life and start my first highpoly stuff. I'll try to do the maximum in max.
(EQ, damn you ! it's your fault !)
I think I just sux in edge loops... bleh, still really wip.

Inspired by MoP's CGChat callenge. Not even close to his skill, but I'm still working

Vig> Impressive start!
Renaud> I bet that will turn out really well! Looking cool so far.
Sorry if I'm being noobish here, not being very constructive here I mean, but I just wanna comment on what I like.
Clicked around in maya more tonight. Just having fun before getting back to projects.
some retarded idea that ended up being retarded. maybe i'll try again later.

I've got no scanner so I simply took a picture of it with my camera. Alot of the detail is lost and its kinda blurry... ah well...

I like his sleepy look , keep up the good work.
Edit: damn forgot the "k"
And more on the mesh:
I really hate myself for not remembering his name, but it looks a lot like his style...
