Evening all,
I've been working on this a while now and I'm at a point that I'm wrapping it up. I thought I'd reach out to a couple places/groups and see what feedback I'd be able to get from you. There's still a lot of grime work I'm gonna be doing next as well as up rezzing some of the geometry but any other advice/crit you have is totally welcome, cheers guys.
New user here, I'm currently finalizing my model of Anakin Skywalker's lightsaber so that I can move onto texturing it.

I just did my first sketchfab with a old art test!
I learned if you edit a post with a sketchfab it disappears from the post. If you try to re-add it the sketchfab ends up in the post reply area.

Rendered with TB2
thanks!
i just use the marmoset skin shader for everything really. SSS, translucency, fuzz-maps - i use them all. for hair it's that with fuzz turned off but with blurred shadowing + anisotropic highlights.
my base body is around 21k triangles on subdiv level 1 and used for zbrush and as output mesh. for folio purposes i don't want jagged geometry that will look outdated in a closeup when compared to next year's titles so i just use subdiv level 2 for that. about 85k for the whole body, not sure what the head alone would come in like.
There's a video too: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wZaic5yNq3k
