First off - all the work on here and from the 2015 thread was freaking inspiring!
I am new here (and new to the 3D world) but I just wanted to post what I have been working on. I am a toy designer in LA and wanted to learn how to sculpt my own designs (so I can save some money when I want to make prints) - while also learning to potentially build up a new portfolio of 3D character art. This is one of my first sculpts in zBrush. This is of a figure design I had had for a while now that I thought would be a cool figure to mass produce. I made the base and then in the name of learning I used the base as a foundation to start learning new techniques. Any suggestions/comments are welcome! Thanks!

@CODYAQ2, I was inspired by the first desperados game. Great that it shows. Also RDR.
Sketchfab player didn't show up for some reason. Friend of mine noticed that the color variation between tiled roof and the wooden one was too subtle.

messing with fibremesh. its a bit of pain to actually style the hair grrmove brush is good but eventually distorts the hair planes
EDIT found some good methods for the styling
I use the groomer magnet brush, the move tool with preserve length set to 100
groom hair toss is nice and groom hair long is useful
To shorten hair I use the smooth tool on the hair ends
@Skadoo Sorry I have no crits, but just wanted to say this is looking awesome so far, loving the shapes.
Hey all, just sharing a WIP update of what I've been working on recently. Realtime fanart of Aigis from Persona 3, looking for feedback on this so please crit away if anyone has any thoughts! Aiming for a FF aesthetic. Next step is to refine the hair shape more before getting started on the body texture.
Happy New Year! First 3D model work for 2016! Just a fanart of BB-8 droid from Star Wars: The Force Awakens
First time using sketchfab.
Thanks for viewing!
