Hey, This is the scene I currently have setup for my Texture Lights and Rendering Final. I was wondering if anyone could give me their opinion on the setup and positioning/number of the objects. Maybe more visually appealing positions for objects and or casting of shadows. I am a little close to the due date so not too much deviation from what i currently have would be helpful. Thanks

Here's my final pirate model "D'Mont". Hope you like it!
I also think that a camera angle that brings the shot closer to the rack with the sword- and-shields crosses on the wall in the background will give a better look at the swords whereas right now they are a little small and hard to focus on. Lastly, may I suggest a soft orange light as though the are were being lit by torchlight, but that really depends on the mood you are trying to convey.
By no means am i the end-all be-all of image composition, but that is my input.
Best of luck on making your deadline!
This piece was laying around at 70% done so took the time to finish it now that I hade some time in between school stuff. Added the gun and mount and redid the textures a tiny bit + added a small environment hope you like:) All done in unreal engine 4

Current progress on a personal side project. The scale felt really off in the previous attempt and the composition was feeling a little stiff. I've opened up the space and put it through a lighting pass. I'll probably lower the brightness of the lights to the left as they're blowing out quite a bit.

I decided to take you up on your suggestions and added another Sword rack to balance each side of the corner and another set of sword and shield in between both to use as a close up example of my models. As well as added a slight orange tint for fire. Overall i think the project came out alright, texturing and lighting had always been a confusing process for me, but i have learned much from struggling with it. Thanks for the help @Lexinator117

Needed to get up to speed on substance painted and ue4 so I finished up this prop. Still alot of room to grow but a step in the right direction with this first attempt at substance.

Hey guys,
I want to show you the project I am working on together with Richard Ziegler who did the programming. This is my Bachelor thesis at the School of Fine Arts HBK Saar. Big thanks to getnamo for the "Razer Hydra plugin" and Mhousse1247 for the "Custom Gravity plugin". The actual version is build with UE10.1. Its my first VR project with UE4 and I realy want to make this game happen so I am thinking about a crowdfunding campaign.
Or maybe someone is interested in working with me, feel free to contact me there is a lot to do !
Here is a link to the project page with more infos about the concept and the basic gameplay.
