Chances are I'm going to change my face-hugger inspired vagina on the bottom to be somewhat more like the one in the first concept as well.

I plan on making the scene overrun by plants( vines and moss).
Think I'm done for the day. The back tallons/claws are really, really far from being finished (in fact, the whole metroid still is), and what you see is a basic shape. Also, the muscles just above the claws and the flesh on the underbelly have barely been touched (I decided to smooth everything I had before out to get a clean slate), and I decided to go with the mouth on this one:
Thus far I've done a very poor job of emulating it, but I have barely done anything on it either. Any ideas on design based on any art work on metroids you guys have seen?
