Hey guys,
I added a bunch of free stuff for you onto my Gumroad page. Some high poly files, some textures, some zbrush alphas and breakdowns from the polycount forums. https://gumroad.com/purepolygons
Here are some free to use for any reason, no permission required PBR Materials. Only the wood is non-tiling. File includes PSDs, roughness, albedo, and normal map. Only Ndo2 and photoshop were used.
What an amazing collection! What is the license on this? CC BY-SA?
Thank you, you can use it in any commercial project as well as personal project.
Basically you can do anything with these models except re-sell them as yours
Hello guys, did a substance paint mesh in order to test Smart Materials and to make new ones with it. It's just a ball, but I wanted something that's easy to test. I'll share it with you guys shortly as I just have to organize it and put it up somewhere Comes with a chrome ball and a grey ball for testing the PBR's too
Its really a cool and helpful piece of information. Im glad that you simply shared this helpful information with us.
Please keep us up to date like this. Thank you for sharing.
This is a pretty old model, but still might be interesting to some people. I'm including the un-subdivided OBJ as well as the Toolbag 2 scene used to create the render.
You guys can do pretty much whatever you want with these files. Study it, kitbash it into new assets, make a lowpoly and texture it, etc. Just as long as you're not selling the assets as is or including them in a commercial project.
got some old game assets to share as well.
Nothing special and no PBR (sorry :poly122:). But maybe someone can use it. Contact me if you want to use it commercially. Everything else is fine.
I have a small recommendation for all artists that shared their hard work on this thread: choose a license. Right now, even though some have README's with details, they're still under normal copyright law. Your work needs to be bound to a legal license when it's released to the public without any strings attached.
By choosing a license, you are protecting you and your work, but you're also encouraging others to actually use your work in their projects. Without a proper legalese explanation, no game, animation or even rendering project will be able to use the content that you made, which deserves to be seen and put into action!
So, go ahead and license your work. It's quick and easy!
I personally recommend CC-BY-SA, because that guarantees that the work, and all future improvements, will be free (as in freedom, not as in beer) forever.
You can use it, modify it. all free. ________________ you can't sell it (without my permission) __________________________________________ If you use it in any of your project, atleast credit me for this basemesh... more details in the README file link : https://gum.co/KuyqN my page : https://facebook.com/waywoArt/
We're giving away a whole handful of models. Some are character busts, some are creatures. All are watertight, and easily edited base geometry. Released under a flexible CC license, so go nuts.
I really like hat girl here, her face rig and model is fantastic, and there's a ton of detail in the rig. I just cant quite work out the sleeves, is there some way of pulling them back over the hands that I'm missing? It seems odd to have fully rigged hands and not be able to show them, is all.
But great character man, may knock something out with this one sometime
Awesome stuff here, loving this thread. I have this male basemesh I donated to public domain a while back. Sculpted from a sphere. I hope you find it useful:
.obj, .ztl, .blend files you can get here and .blend also on blendswap
Hi people, I've just finished this material using baked maps from a Zbrush Sculpt and then texturing in Substance Painter & Designer. The detailed breakdown is available here with all of my working files: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/LWewA

It's absolutely free for both personal and commercial use (as long as you credit me ).
I'll have to fix that and get it back up.

heboltz3 made a pretty awesome rig for this model. Animators should maybe ask him for it if they're interested in animating her.
