We got some cool stuff for today XD, Likin the sketch from Lokii and Olovander,
Nice work guys love your sketchy style Olo, and Lokii's coloury art style is pretty sweet too. Anyhow, I did this in I guess half an hour, added some PS filters, started out in MSpaint, used a moon texture reference, did some light and dark value shading,
and came out with this.
Edit: Would've been better posting it online on an image sharing site.
Seems blurry to me.:shifty:
So, have worked a bit more on the image still need to tweak the birds and some trees etc. Have mainly worked on the griffin let me know what you think of the new proportions, you can see the old one at the top of the page.
This didn't turn out as I had hoped, but practice is practice. Good for critiques! So please go ahead!
This was taken from a suggestion on the last painting; what should I paint next?
aaand quick photostudy!
Trying new brushes/techniques etc
edit 2
And another!
Bit of quick concept art for a project called Hunt
The technokatana guy is cool! And olovander, looks great, just the bottom half of the top piece could use a bit more structure, bolder shapes/value structures
Bandit gets what he deserves! (?)
Random sketch I'd love to hear some feedback/ideas/pointers
One more, 20 mins spitpaint, no ref, "riding archer"!
Inspired/trying to memorise stuff by one of my fav artists, Ganbat Badamkhand
Line art for a moba like character I'm doing for fun and practice sakes. Doing this with the latest youtube video from Marc Brunet in mind, to train myself on doing something in the same design line than the work of an other artist.
Will certainly post it in the 2D concept bank when color is done...
@Dibbs
Like the posing and the crispness of the hand
@Jeff Parott
Can easily see that concept being a 3d in game model, nice work!
A dabble in the study of folds using one of my original characters.
Used some jeans references, pose references and hair references. Am sorta pleased with how this turned out, but definitely want to take it to the next level. :poly142::poly142::poly142::poly142:
Fun fact: this is totally not my art style, idk, It seems disneyesque
with dem eyes. Oh well at least he has the spirit of my character :poly122::)
character i sketched in my book that i want to paint up! tried to make him a little generic so its easier for me to paint and learn. more updates coming
Practice, experimenting with effects, finishes and stuff. I'm thinking in letting it marinate in my WIP folder and do some tweaks when I recover my patience with this piece.
Oh, it's my own take on Ragnarok Online thieves. It was my first MMORPG, good old times being a clueless newbie. (:
@Vielmond Nice art style XD Likin the paint job and character
YEAHHHHHHHHHHHH
This project took me an hour will add other details when I get some time for myself (lol relaxation), for inspiration I used various pictures I used Raichuking? Seaking and Raichu fusion pokemon, for the armor base and was the hint of the inspiration after the initial
god idea I based it off of, used some inspiration from you guys (b cause damn your concepts are good and serve as a foundation when I most need it), (will post these people's names when my internet doesn't crap out.) Lokii and Olovander Thanks so much XD
Anywho so much TL;DR but tell me what you guys think of the concept, execution, love to hear feedback, thanks :):):)
I completely revamped the character design of the starting character for my game project. I like this much better, and I’m pretty proud of myself. Definitely feels like I gained a few levels with this piece.
Ps, accidentally posted in 3d pimp and preview. Oops.
Those are neat daemoria! But I think if you tried thinning the black lines and playing with the thickness of them it would make the ships look much cleaner. Try to avoid using the same thickness of black all over.

can't wait to get back to work on this...

I have done a color study of the new Dawn of the Planet of Apes trailer.
I might push the lightest light and work on the fabric a bit before calling it done, but I stop for today.
I hope you enjoy .
And here's the livestream of the color study

Love to see the works in this thread
Here's something that I'm working on. Still feel like the elements in the image are not very consistent with each other, so I need to fix that!
Cheers guys and keep up the awesome work
Ribtibs-Holy hell that is impressive, great work!
Dug out some old pathfinder work I have done over the past few years on the side.
UI practice:
I'd love to hear what you think!
Haha, that's cool as hell! Nice improvement in what really is a pretty short amount of time.
