Thanks @pmiller001 , I find that I plateau pretty quickly so diversifying my work helps me come back and reach a new plateau relatively quickly. That said - I try to keep the variations to a limited few things so I don't spread myself too thin.
I have a hard time figuring out the details or knowing exactly what the forms are. More often than not it's about the composition of the elements and the frequency in the detail around the elements. Or maybe I just like to scribble lol.

Started this Sunday afternoon before heading to a concert. Noodling on it a little more tonight and see where it ends up.

probably going to leave this at this point and do some material studies. Definitely found some weak points I need to work on.
