I recently got a deal for Tomb Raider on Origin, then got my key and put it on Steam. Dunno if that is the standard for all of Origin games tho. But i agree that i like to have most of my games in one place, with friends as well.
Dunno what kind of game this will be, so i dunno what to expect. Excited to see something from Respawn tho.
All of this hate for Origin is so silly. It's no better or worse than Steam. Your friends are still available for communication RIGHT THERE on your computer monitor. It's not so hard to move the mouse from one window to the other.

Am I reading that right? I would've expected udk or CryEngine for a "next" gen release before Source. Unless it's that fancy new version everybody was expecting to be revealed along with Ep3.
What I am wondering, is they are toting the power of the Cloud for their Ai, but how is that going to work for the 360? And source engine..oh man.. So excited to see that engine get love.

Also most leaks are purposeful from my experience. When it's content leak, and prepared marketing images it's usually on purpose to generate more attention being called a "leak".

2 - Monopoly , when EA releases a game its only on origin which means i cant get it anywhere else so any sales or other digital seller like green-man gaming wont carry it. Competition breeds innovation. It is because, instead of offering something different, Origin is cribbing things from Steam wholesale, and doing a poorer job of it.
3 - Spyware , we all know EA got caught with origin scanning everyone computer and it was in the EULA. I know they changed it but i cannot help but think what they are planning next.
4 - Convince, I Have every game I own almost on steam and i want it that was as It is easier to have every game consolidated to 1 platform.
I have no problem if Origin actually was a decent digital platform. I just despise EA for its business practice

EA was tired of kicking money Valves way and honestly the BF3 launcher and web integration is beyond amazing.

As total opposite to BF4 gameplay footage, with screen covered with dirt and smoke 90% of the time, Titanfall looks clean and readable.
Gameplay looks FANTASTIC! I really want to try it, here's hoping Origin will actually LET me try it, unlike the last three games I tried to play through the service....

OK, sure, next time EA charges you 250$ and closes your account because that Tech guy in some backwater city thought you were using your coupon code on your birthday as a Refund number for your Credit Card, please, be my guest.
The origin issue solved itself for me. I'm a credit card fraudster because I used my credit card from China. Everyone knows that whoever uses a foreign credit card in this country can't be a tourist or an expat. Even worse, EA doesn't care about helping you and refers you to Digital River, Inc. Probably the worst e-payment processor you can find.
I'm so looking forward to Titanfall! The gamaplay and aesthetics really caught me, but I'm a little concern about how EA will deal with it in terms of DLCs, and Origin which I hope it won't give problems...
I NEED this game in me right now.I t looks absolutely fantastic. The best of CoD with the best of Hawken with a mix of Tribes and Brink, fucking love it, goddamn. Want forever, if anyone from Respawn is on PC, I'll give you my firstborn for a beta invite on pc or something :P
I don't mean to sound like the negative douche in a whirl wind of positive, but as a guy that only plays game with good/ great graphics, I honestly don't see how this game classifies as ps4 quality. It's got a great set of gameplay, but the graphics seem barely even current gen.

Really? I think it looks great. If I am not mistaken, Respawn isn't that big of a studio. And hell, they are using a modified version of source, right? It looks really good knowing that... I was never a fan at how Source handled it's normal maps. (but god damn if it doesn't have amazing lighting)

Artisticaly its a mess. there are "some" nice things like the mechs and the guns. The texel spacing however, is all over the place. Spec seems painted into some of the maps. Particles are puffy. Surfaces lack depth, not to mention EVERYTHING looks crazy bumped. I commend them for having a small team and at the very least achieving this bit, but its FAR from PS4 standards. I'll definably get it on PC though. At least then i can raise the texture rez.
And yes, i know its Xbone exclusive. PS4 is just to reference the artistic bar.

Probably there won't be better graphics on pc though. That doesn't really happen when console start their lifespan. It usually happens when devs reach console limits but barely scratched pcs possibilities.
Sure, the game shows none of the fancy lens simulation, camera-listic rendering that BF4 or The Division have. But at least, the battlefield is readable at all times - not like in that BF4 demo where it was absolutely impossible to see anything inside the building looking outside because everything was pitch black backlit and unreadable.

I don't know if you already saw it, but the announce trailer at 1080p 60fps can be download from that link and it looks awesome. Textures have not the definition we might want but it still looks gorgeous imho.
