low poly -> zbr ( subdividing withouth smoothing the edges) then back into 3dmax for baking ( optimizing the low poly mesh that I allready made at the start) and photoshop for the rest.
it looks more than awesome but couldn't you modify a little bit the end of the bow because in game the string of the bow looks like floating in air and don't touch the bow?
It could be a bit more dynamic imo. Right now it looks pretty boring. And he's holding his weapons up like he's ready to charge into something, but his horse isn't moving so it seems a bit pointless. Try to make the horse seem like it's moving or something. Just my 2 cents.
mmmm, yeah sorry mate - gotta agree with them. The new one looks kinda "meh" The side horns are too small for me.
And I noticed you getting a bit of stick on your reddit thread... Reddit can be quite hostile for item makers now, so yeah. I wouldn't worry about it.
If there was anything at all I'd personally change, it wouldnt be the original horns - I'd have made the eyes bigger. Maybe light up more along the vertical slits. It might help make it less comical.

As for the helm , I am obviously not 100% satisfyed with it , but I dont really expect that all the ideas will materialize as I imagined . The small eyes looked good in my head ; some fail here and there are expected

On the other note , I liked Pipotchi's concept so much that I started to block the concept out . The only issue is that I cant contact him on steam /polycount so I'm gonna keep it at this until I get a 100% ok from him

To go on the beard bandwagon , I decided to make a chainmail hood + beard for my dragon knight set ( as I am not 100% sure that my other helm fits the hero completly).
This is a test with only some basic collors on it couse I wasnt sure that the chain mail will be visible.
It turned out ok IMO , as its someting there that resembles some chain links .
