Considering the way 2013 has been going for me, I have to look at the little things that make me happy. So today, it was waking up next to my lovely wife.

Mm, I hear you buddy. Nice cup of coffee if probably going to be the highlight of my day.
Having a laugh watching people looking at pictures of me from this weekends halloween party... No one will EVER hire me for their children's birthday party as a clown.
Played CoD Ghosts a day early using a VPN today. I really love the weapon models and animations, definitely some of the best I've seen in any FPS made to date.
Jonathans first artistic endeavour began at the University of Pennsylvania where he started basic drawing and figure drawing courses. At the age of 22, his drive for more rigorous and traditional training led him to apply to the classical realist atelier, Pantura Studios, to study under masters Hans-Peter Szameit and Sanna Tomac. After studying for nearly three years, Jonathan and his wife moved to Dallas, Texas where he began building his body of work and honing his skills. In addition, he is teaching traditional atelier methods to a small group of committed and talented students online at Classical Art Online.com. Jonathans work is included in various collections throughout the United States and has been exhibited in invitational shows both nationally and in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area.
Since he first picked up a pencil Jonathan has been logging his artistic growth on a website called "Conceptart.org". The name of his blog is "Journey of an Absolute Rookie: Paintings and Sketches". To view his amazing progression from untrained to professional artist click below:

It will be nice not having to religiously procrastinate on Polycount all the time and in more procrastination news....
You know the little end bit of the gun on the Fairchild Republic A-10 Thunderbolt II, Did you ever wonder how big it is inside the plane?
Someone once told me the plane was designed to be a flying cannon and the skilled pilot had to align the plane to shoot the gun and this is why...
My friend had offered to buy me a 3DS this Thursday if I quickly finished Mass Effect 1 and 2 for him with full Paragon and a decent amount of trophies.
I finished them but I'm hurting all over for playing for 2 days straight.
Finally get to relive my DS days though
Two things - finally got to use a steadicam including training on how to balance the rig (plan to use it for a short soon) and got tickets to see Gravity tonight (my wife's birthday). Good day.
I took some photos from my artbooks and asked for a professional printer to print me this, ( everytime I get in the room now I automatically smile at how awsome it is :P )
I liked it so much that I decided to buy my self an early christmas present and so I ordered from them to print me on an aluminium board this artwork by 120 X 80 ( the original one I took has 300 px/in)
I also received the artbook of MGS2 and The Last of Us.
Jonathan North, a model design student made a time lapse of his physical sculpt coming together. I love going over to the BA/MA model design department, the smell of epoxy resin takes me back to my W40K days, and just seeing all the student making amazing models for film, TV, arch viz and so on.
