Since this is getting like a more than once thing i guess i`ll make a topic for it

So a few days ago i`ve started watching some of the disney movies again and with that i do a little speedsculpt

here`s 3 so far with their timelapses

the average time is about 3 - 4,5 hours

I think the archimedes sculpt was quite a bit off, mostly with the cheeks.
John Silver was really quite close, cybernetic eye could easily be made yellow and jaw could be squarer, beasts expression and teeth are scaring me.

i agree.. hades would be pretty cool, although id love to see a sculpt of horace and jasper.

Scruples: Yeah i see what you mean with the archimedes sculpt
for the beast smile i looked at another screen of him smiling and kind of tried to copy that. The pose you posted is the "Attempt at smiling"

but still its good practice trying to translate these to 3d. Also i like the idea of rewatching hercules and sculpting hades

Yea that hades came out awesome you'll get noticed for sure if you keep this up, I love that little skull as well, I'm surprised i never thought of this since I'm a huge fan myself awesome, keep going if you want if nothing else this is great practice.

I wouldn't be surprised if many people started doing this, so many toons out their why the hell not, we would never run out of designs I don't think.

Anyway awesome stuff!

Characters I would love to see: Jafar (Alladin), Scar (Lion King), Prince John (Robin Hood) and Ursula (Little Mermaid)... we all love villains I guess xD

Wow..I miss 2d animated movies.They were heartwarming and very expressive.Lion king was hand drawn(I may be wrong).I think apps like Flash or any other app that doesn't imitate hand drawn look kinda disconnects the viewer from the animation itself.Cause the kid in us remember our drawing days.
I second the motion for the lion king's medicine man the monkey.Can't remember his name.

Remember this dude yelling at the camera: HE IS ALIVE!!!That face had me laughing.

Great job.Loving the sculpts or u could do one of Kida from Atlantis.She is one hot girl.

Damn. Sweet. And you are producing them so quickly. I'll definitley watch those videos later tonight - keep on posting! You seem very good at capturing the characters' distinct features that give them their personality. And meanwhile the style of the characters change a little per movie (some have more rounded, some more square shapes etc.), all of these 3D sculpts have that "made by you" feeling.
