Crazy stuff, very inspirational. Think I'll look through some disney characters and give this a shot come this week. GREAT WORK KEEP IT UP!!! :poly142:
Raven, these are SO awesome! My sister works at Disney so I couldn't resist forwarding this thread to her. Amazing, amazing stuff. Love the Jafar sculpt! This is seriously inspiring stuff.
How are you doing the painitng? just within zbrush?
It seems like he's using polypainting through Zbrush(might be wrong).
Do you use some kind of script for copying all the different masks and caps? Seems like it takes you mere seconds from baking to having them in photoshop.
slipsius: thats what im doing at the same time
The colors are done with polypaint inside zbrush
Karl: no i dont but i'm going to look into a way to make it automatic since its always the same process, also the videos are sped up a lot, the sculpts take between 2,5 - 4 hours
latest one was the fastest
tonights sculpt and the entire livestream session with audiocommentary
first time i did something like that so its pretty rough but i think it should give a good insight into how i work
starts about 6 minutes in
THANK YOU for the live video! Speed sculpts are fun to watch but are often of little value to someone trying to learn how things are done. They are entertainment more than education. This will be great, thanks again!
tnx guys and np on the tutorial, glad i could help
tonights sculpt isnt a disney one but female face practice , since im not comfortable sculpting those im first trying to study some of the 3 girls out there before trying to translate 2d into 3d
