I love polycount hangout Im in there almost everyday! Everyone is super helpful and friendly. Artists help artists. I love to help others too. Its like the only way I can get work done. My productivity has increased 100 fold. Shout outs to Joseph March, Dennis, Scott Holmes, Hayden Wu, RJ Bonner, Niko, Kevin, and everyone else so much talent.

It might be that you are not joining via the event page? You can't store room URLs and join via them now as the URLs change once the room is empty.
Yes—after the first join the event should be in your g+ events list; join via that. The links change over time. According to the g+ page the hangout has had 342 unique visitors since its creation, 12th September 2013.
In addition to complaints made personally to me about certain individuals, I have heard some pretty disturbing and detailed stories about the hangout last night and I want to make it clear that that sort of behaviour will not fly. Regulars know the rules and should lead by example rather than breaking them.
I really shouldn't have to remind anyone that under no circumstances is the sexual objectification/harassment of patrons, racism, pornography or religious intolerance acceptable in any of these hangouts.
Everyone should feel welcome in the hangouts and people shouldn't be leaving or feel like they can't join because of this type of behaviour.

Just to remind everyone of a few things:
If you get enough complaints about yourself then you are potentially risking your good standing within the greater Polycount community which could get you banned from the forums. It has happened before now as a direct result of behaviour in the hangouts.
Behave yourself if only for selfish reasons. These hangouts are filled with your peers. They could be your boss in the future or may be the deciding factor in getting you future work of some kind. If you want to burn your bridges do it in your own time and away from the hangouts.
I, for one, will not stand for this type of behaviour when I'm in the hangout and other people should feel free to object when they feel the need also. Keep it civil people.

I made a quick search and found a side called meetings.io
no login required and a permanent room for up to 5 people.
Though I guess the permanent room is for people with account.
Just want to make a note that as of today Skype group calling is free. I love me some hangouts but might be worth seeing what kind of screen-sharing resolution skype offers.
I'm experiencing problem on Hangout. After clicking the sharescreen and selecting which option to choose [Fullscreen or Monitor or which software], the thing isn't screensharing. There's the icon next to my avatar that I'm sharing, but I ain't. If I click the screensharing again, it toggles the share off even though it ain't sharing.
Tried with different hangouts and with different browsers. (Chrome and Firefox)
Any help !?
