Looks great Hawf! Glad to see you helping out. Hopefully they should confirm everything soon. I told them to keep a lookout for other artists looking to participate. They already added Neox, Oroboros and Prophet so just be patient
vikk0: I gasped! It looks so beautiful. I really like the contrast with authoritative-looking (read: angry) luna and the circlet. Only suggestion is to desaturate the cotton candy blue hair a bit, and her eyes will pop more

I actually like portrait color better. You can tinker around with red/blue mask 2 map, but i think portrait and ingame use different lighting presets and they'll alway be different.

she could definetly use some specularity on the hair, not too shiny, just to give it a bit more dynamic shading. experiment with mask 2 channel R,B and A.
but yeah, ingame and portrait have different shading and there is not much you can do about it.
since its hair, i´d focus on getting the portrait view right.
usually when the portrait looks good, it doesnt look to bad ingame either.

Thanks for the suggestions Vlad and Goeddy, I'll play around with the masks. It looks like that is the biggest issue that's making the colors come out weird.
Needs a bit more chromatic aberration and outline effect.
But aside from the presentation, I dig the design.

Snowstorm: The poly limit on her skirt is really forgiving , but the texture size (as its not a very simteric item) will be problematic imo.

Also, the circlet is very blurry, I guess I'll have to retopo it separately from hair...

yeah since it is mostly fabric
its not that ultra hard
and i think i will do some mask effects on the gold so the texture is not as much as important if it would be plain
anyone know how fix it?:( i mirrored it. transfer half part uv's out of map... i baked it in Xnormal, when i bake it in blender, its fine (with no bugs) but not good like it need to be...

I'm on the bake stage to get the AO map and some parts are messed up. This is supposed to be a flower, and as you can see the thin parts have no texture at all.
The 8 thin parts actually have the exact same structure and their seams are in the same spot, but only ONE of them manages to get an AO map from the bake.
Any idea? I'm using Blender.

It'd help if you showed the UV layout.
if you've got the UV's stacked it may cause an issue. or if they're instances. Don't know blender, but those could surely cause lighting confusion i imagine.

Finally managed to fix all of the baking errors and stuff for that Spectre weapon!
Can I use the old model to import the weapon in-game? Valve still provides the old one where Spectre uses that ring/hula-hoop of death. Can I bind it to the ring bone or do I need to decompile and get her newer files?
Guys, im making a set for brewmaster, only bracers left, but i want u to ask, is pig replacement for ceg is ok? I think that ll be pretty funny: puking during "Drunken haze" and grunting during "Thunder clap", but what do u think? Maybe i should just make regular goldy ceg?
