Camera and Lense Kyiv-19 and MC Helios-81H 2/50

This is a personal project, study and practice.
The main feature is that the camera optics are really working, at least in V-Ray

Re: Late Night Posts

Printed a working ukulele for my kid. Printed on an FLSUN with a .3mm height. Filled the layers with wood filler, sanded, primed and painted. Need recommendations though on a good scratch resistant clear coat paint spray. Overall it sounded pretty decent. I am considering making a small batch for my shop to see how people feel about them.

Lets find out if I can make a doom style renderer in designer

so, time for part 2(ish) of doing things with designer that designer wasn't intended for...

Step one: infinite texture mapped planes with perspective projection, horizontal camera rotation and depth cueing to hide the fact there's no mip-mapping

It's finally finished!

It's been awhile since I updated this post and I unfortunately neglected it! But my Cute Stylized House project is finally finished! I wanted to thank everyone on here who gave me feedback! I learned a lot from this project and though there's things I'm not too happy with I've got to move onto the next project and utilized what I've learned!

Hey all! Just finished my last prop so I'm working on a new one! Based on this concept by Elodie Mondoloni. She seriously rules. I'm taking her concept and converting it into a Monster Hunter World-style greatsword, so that's why the blade is longer. image

Here's my progress so far! Going from a low-mid poly to highpoly workflow, since this piece isn't too organic. Gonna take it into zbrush next.


I also recorded my progress in a timelapse so far! This is just for fun, I've never recorded my work before and I think it'll be fun to look back and see my techniques change over time.

Very nice!  I do think your chromatic aberration is a little high on your final asset, I think it steals focus from your lovely details

@pistachio - Fantastic raptors! Really love the feathered variant - looks way more monstrous.

Hello, I'm new here, but have known about Polycount for quite awhile now. Can't really model highpoly, but low-poly is more doable for me. I made this low-poly "Elite Queen's Guard" character over the past couple of days. Not quite perfect, but I'm happy with how it turned out. 

294 faces, 64x64 16-color texture made in Aseprite, modeled in Blender.

Made something else yesterday - some kind of creepy weird biomechanical horror. 332 tris, and an 11-color 64x64 texture.

Hey, this is my character Naga. Now I am slowly looking for a 3d character artist job and filling out my portfolio. I worked on it at SkymoonsKyiv. Recently I was allowed to put it in my portfolio. And although the character is quite low-poly and is intended for a mobile game. I decided to present it artistically and put it in an interesting pose. What do you think - did it work?
