I think this one car turn out quite nice - I personally always dig sets themed according to real world places and history. My only suggestion (as chatted about earlier) would be to try and give more depth to the belt/belly piece. It stood out nicely in the concept, but looks a bit flat in these 3d screenshots, especially at a distance.

I will agree with pior thought, beld needs just a bit more depth.
And I would try to keep the beads/pattern on the scarf and the armband more uniform and maybe a tad bigger (I'm not sure it will be seen well with DotA's camera view).
since some people asked for it, here colormaps of both versions:
the right golden part is just bakes with simple coloroverlay. the crystal/magma part is hand drawn.
after some silence the first shot of the sandking set. rocket is again modeling:
this is already lod0+whitebake, but we are going back and try to make a more
powerful crown for his head. also thinking about splitting up the lower jaw and
adjusting the second eye more to the front.
