I like the razor set but I always think the same thing when people make stout shield/quelling blade items for heroes- will anyone be interested in buying an item which they instantly recognise as cheap ingame and in some cases worthless? Does the average dota player want to be running around at 50 minutes with their legion commander with a stout shield still glued to their back?
Im sure it doesnt apply to everyone but personally the reason why a rapier styled weapon will jump out at me more than a stout shield styled weapon is that rapier is expensive as hell ingame, and stout shield costs less than boots and isnt even very character specific- even orb of venom cosmetics dont go down too well for the same reason I think. Something like sange and yasha crossed behind an AC-styled shield would probably go down better (not that Im suggesting that would be more fitting, I dont really play the hero )

still i am not sure - since i dont think everyone is like that. my char does not has to wear 5 divine rapiers all around him (with lvl1 already) that i feel cool - i prefer *less is more*.
and after all i think its totaly lol when i see a kunkka with lvl1 and shadowblade cosmetic.. so the reverse situation is also strange! maybe any kind of ingame developing item would solve that matter in both directions - what do u think?
Well yea, obviously its silly the other way round too, but I think people at least get excited when they see an item which they associate with their hero, which I dont think applies to stout shield cosmetics. An evolving item could actually be quite cool I guess! Especially if you could find an item which actually builds upwards from a low cost item to a high cost item... although that could be really difficult seeings as in dota half the weapons are made out of completely unrelated weapons

also as discussed on my razor item set idea that time, in game item make into cosmetic might get a lot downvote in same time due to people not really like it.... hmmmm
That ward looks super nice! The only thing I think may be a problem are the rings, which will use lots of tris, but the budget on wards are a bit generous. Also, the totem faces may be too small for the ingame texture resolution and size. But apart from that, I think that it definitely fits the hero and looks great!
