I was just doing some tests in UDK to see if I couldn't figure out physical biased materials. Reff Test Right now the material is pretty clean and basic so far if anyone has any ideas to improve it I'm all ears.

I set up a vertex paint shader following the UDK Modular Masterclass from Eat3D and yeah it doesn't work. the problem is I can't seem to paint on to my mesh.

Hi, I'm having a lot of trouble building my lighting in UDK. I have my mesh in my scene, and a point light. I checked 'build bsp', 'build static meshes', and 'generate building LOD textures'. When I build, I get an error message that tells me 'paths need to be rebuilt'. Heelp.
Hello, I am a big fan of light linking in maya. I was just wondering if people know of something similar in udk? I checked a few places and googled it, but nothing too relevant. The only way i can do something similar is to use point lights with little intensity or spotlights. Is this the way most people do this? Thanks

So I took a really long break from UDK. (Last time I used it was around the June update) I come back to downloaded the September update and...wtf. Whenever I click play in editor threes no weapon, and the camera seems zoomed in. The sound doesn't work. Is there anything else major I should know about?
