I have been building up a personal library of LUTs lately. Had this bright idea to use After Effects and the Magic Bullet/Colorista color grading plug-ins to have some fun with it. Was thinking once I have enough of them, I might make them available to download for use as presets.
LUTs were a fantastic realization after having spent too much time getting mad at the manual color grading inputs in the editor.
Such a powerful option too as you can drastically change things very quickly
You have a good tutorial voice :P
@SirCalalot: thanks. a lot of friends used to tell me i should go into radio. lol
@mixeh: thats already done. theres a thread with all those vids. http://www.polycount.com/forum/showthread.php?t=95166 however if you're referring to the specific rock wall from that video, no. unfortunately i wont be showing how i did that. it was pretty much a quick 1 hour doodle while i had some down time at work. and i thought it worked better than my current stone (from the full tut) for a test demo. that is just a quick demo showing what im going to try and achieve for the last video (give it about 2 weeks for that one to be up). the final vid will walk through that process from start to finish.
i actually love that result from your quick doodle, don't know if there's any decent tilable rock tutorials out there

the tut from bobby rice that he links is probably the best one ive seen as far as zbrush rocks n things go. i think he's made that pretty standard for most environment/texture artists who use zbrush
