Sweet scene especially for a first level in UDK. Logan5 has a point, some breakdowns would be killer. http://orbart.free.fr/index.php?Gallery=105 Orb, shows a really nice process on how he went about sculpting :)
Because your diffuse is almost solid black. Replace it with a constant 0.5 or rgb 128 (solid neutral gray), and test. Also, try setting your dominate directional like to 1.5 or 5 brightness. And type ToggleHUD in the console.

Hi folks, I recently got a job offer as a environment 3D Artist at a AAA studio in Montreal and was offered 43k CAD as yearly salary. I had about 1.5 years of professional work experience (non AAA) in 2D and 3D. Just wondering if this is a normal salary range for a Junior in Montreal? Thanks guys!
So I'm trying to branch out into env stuff. Gonna do a real simple building and put it into udk (heavily based on a house near me). 3ds max atm. Here's the first modular piece I have done, 512x512 & 116 tris. Too much?
I recently downgraded my PSP from version 2.0 to 1.5 so I could run homebrewed apps and a friend mentioned the GP2X, a linux based handheld that sounds pretty groovy. I might just sell my PSP for this since I'm pretty dissappointed with the PSP and it's selections of games.
http://www.lolking.net/models/?champion=105&skin=1 Fizz is roughly 2.5 heads big. You have his head (which is already huge) One head lower you're already at his crotch and the rest is filled by his tiny legs.
day 1.5 day 2 haha thats never a bad thing =D but ahh man... i am ashamed as a warcraft player *head down in shame* this was the original concept art, so i guess im making a gron... not an ogre? O.o
How fast is this? I've been using Texture Exporter 1.5 by Mark Verkerk, and it's a great tool, but when I've had really large Photoshop files (over 1GB) it tends to take longer to save than it does just by saving a TGA copy.
Just popped it in this morning. I'm digging it. Art, combat, etc is fun. Feels like Gears 1.5. I don't like the enemy animations popping. When they go from cover to attacking there is a distinct pop. Otherwise it's pretty ace so far.
