[Maya] Image Plane Behind Geo?
Is there any way to have an image plane behind the geo in the perspective camera view? I tried adjusting the image plane's Depth, and I also tried adding layers: image plane as layer1, geo as layer2), then placed the image plane layer under the geo layer, but that didn't work either. So I've been looking around a little for a program for PC that would allow u to arrange images by color or something, and possibly tag images in groups and arrange that way as well. Looks like i'm the first to say the right image looks best. Seems like the sharpest image to me when you get up close. Especially for the first art image. Although there is some artifacting visible in the other 2 images I prefer sharp images over the blurred ones. btw, im using chrome -

Maya 5 PLE image plane crash?
Zooming in or out in an ortho viewport with an image plane consistently crashes Maya 5 PLE. I've also had crashes with viewport pans using an image plane. Persp camra doesn't seem to be affected.
