Hey, the models shown look great, the only thing i have to say is that the "dark knight" character's armor looks far to similar to Arthas' armor from the Warcraft 3 cinematics. especially in the legs. Also the sword is very similar to Frostmourne. Other than that your work looks pretty good. Keep it up!
Looking for some feedback on this. I have been learning Maya and Zbrush after using 3D Studio's for over 15 years (I started in 3DS 4 DOS). This peace is based off of concept art from Blizzard for World of Warcraft.
So how you guys liking the World of Warcraft: Battle Grounds ? Personally it brought my intrest back into it, And now I'm suddenly addicted. >.< Warsong BG is good for 30 min : 1 hour capture the flag, and Alterac BG is good for raking in kills and takes a lonnnnng time to dish out...
I wanted to start posting this early and hopefully get some feedback. I did a quick concept sketch of the creature which is from World of Warcraft for those who don't know. I'm going to build this guy from scratch in zbrush to give zsketch a try. Anyways, here is the turnaround I did.
Hey mates! I just finished my work and want to show it to you. Stylized is sooo hard to me, but I trying to be better every time ) This crate based on Icecrown Citadel stile from World of Warcraft. If you want you can see marmoset viewer on my artstation page (+ highres images) https://www.artstation.com/artwork/1nW0q8…
Ahoy boils n' goils; I decided to make something different than what I usually do - a stylized, low-poly (Warcraft-ish) outhouse (because why not)! I'll post wires soon. Roughly 3200 tri's. More to come! Going to add some greenery and probably a nice turntable base. Made with Max/Photoshop/Quixel Suite.
Yeah, Warhammer Online is still subs too, they only had to lay off the majority of the development staff and halt all content updates. sorry guys, you've got to ship a subscription MMO that isn't called World of Warcraft before you can truly understand.
Nice one Bobo. And I'm with Neo_God on the buckle. A general design rule for warhammer and warcraft orcs is "Needs more Dakka". Always. There is no such thing as too huge until it starts to impair their walking, at which point you can add strategically placed bites out of the material.
Hey guys :) I'm gonna be part of the World of Warcraft artist stage at the Blizzcon 2016 on nov 5 ( 10am) https://blizzcon.com/en-us/schedule#sat-nov-5 Please swing by and ask questions if you are interested :) I will be with the talented artists Cole Eastburn ( http://thecolehole.blogspot.com/) and Eric Braddock…
To day I finished the Iron-Horde Ram, so one day before deadline. I will rest now and check tomorrow again if I can find some parts were I have to rework, but so far I consider it DONE. (The front wheel is not done by me, it's extracted from World of Warcraft, by Blizzard Entertainment)
