I wanted to start posting this early and hopefully get some feedback. I did a quick concept sketch of the creature which is from World of Warcraft for those who don't know. I'm going to build this guy from scratch in zbrush to give zsketch a try.

Anyways, here is the turnaround I did.

    because they already exist in 3d, id recommend getting the wow modelviewer and building a model sheet off of the actual model. then taking that into zbrush. that way you get the proportions correct instead of a sketch

    I've also thought about making a felhunter or a zerg creature from stracraft. Your sketch looks like a good start and I agree with Minimoose about building off the original model. Ofcourse just the proportions, although I think just some scrnshots and your concept would be easy to follow aswell.
