I have been struggling with this for the past one week, whenever I export from 3dsmax 2014 into the udk occulus version (September 2013),the mesh comes out looking faceted. you should fix his t-pose. The way he is standing looks compleatly unnatural to me. looking at the link that tits sent you, you can see how epic poses their characters in a neutral pose.
