[UE4] tessellated dinosaurs running around

hi,
i made a bunch of dinosaurs 7 years ago and i wanted to go back to do something with them for ages. rendering in mental ray was out of the question so i tried tessellation + displacement in UE4 and i'm very surprised by the result. it works like crazy; no cracks, no slow-downs, no problems. so i guess i'll be playing around with this in sequencer and see how it goes :)

the environment models are Epic's

    Dinosaurs look really nice, the animation is a bit stiff but that can "easily" be improved :smiley:
    Are you planning on making a short video or maybe making a VR demo out of it?

    tnx Cybran! yeah the anims are pretty much procedural walkcycles now + some basic movements. i would like to add physics jiggling and stuff for the muscles and fat once the anims are more polished. i had no idea the tessellation would work so good so maybe that will too. a short video is the goal, i have no experience with VR but that would be great :)
