I have completed a female character in 3D Max, and skinned her to a biped. I have a male character with almost identical mesh and want to apply the female character's skin settings to him, so I don't have to redo all of the settings. I selected the female mesh, Skin modifier/ advanced parameters/ save/ "envelope #1.env". I…
prior- ace character, ears could do with a couple more polys though the shading lets it down with the env. map on it i wish i had time to make a kart. i bagsy a tricked up mobility chair ah just read your last post when i posted, hard edges on the ears?
Hey guys, noticed on the unity store that iOS and android support has been added, and thought I'd ask if anyone is using it on those platforms and how it performs etc! Got a project that it might work quite well for, but thought I'd ask here first. Would probably be being used to light a whole fairly simple env.
whar: lol thats awesome... i always smashed through those trash cans, but never knew of the billboard. and i used that UFO teleport thing alll the freakin time. there is a moose head hieroglyph in UC2, in the techy env set. put a smiley face on the tip of the Boomshot projectiles in Gears, homage to flak cannon in UT
you can render a cube map easily with 6 cameras at the center of your scene with 90deg field of view (?) you can stitch the 6 squares together in a program like ATI's cubemapgen as for latlong env maps the best option is to use a lens shader that will do the work for you - like the one you linked in your post
looks good! the only thing i can see and that really bugs me is the lack of sense of speed, you look at your spedo and it says your going 99 and it doesnt feel like that .... the env isnt whipping by like it should at those speeds. how fast would these carts go? what is the engine output on them?
Hi guys, I added a few bits and pieces on the legs, and I also noticed that previous leg design objects were still on the scene when I rendered the last image, so here is what I'm calling "final". Looking forward to your comments and critics on this. I will keep working to other pieces of the env. ;)
Indeed this is superb mouth watering stuff. Nice sculpt. One question. I like what you did here. Why not turn this into a tiling texture and fill in the extra UV viod with a tiling texture that could do the same thing your doing now? Say hi to Alex (Env artist colleague of yours) for me. ;)
Well I was more or less making it so little things (like bolts) would show through with a good skin. I'm doing a texture art test for them where I have to create textures for this scene, but I have to use another concept for the textures and not my env. I've created here. Easy, but very weird...
If I'm not mistaken he's also right handed in skyward sword... I read somewhere, that they stayed with that because of the wii gamepads... because most people are right handed and so their movements would fit Links better. It's kinda sad, that they changed that... because he has been left handed for soooo many years.…
